All donations go to Scholarships in Ricky’s memory & placing lights in the Galena High School baseball field.

The Heart of Gold Baseball Scholarship awarded for work ethics and sportsmanship, a Memorial Music Scholarship, a Special Education Resource Scholarship, and the Babe Ruth Scholarship for players who need financial assistance.

Ricky’s first word was “light” and as a pitcher, he loved night games. Placing lights as a tribute to Ricky’s “light,” will also fulfill a vision he had, and many others have, for Galena to host Northern Nevada Zone Championship games. (34% of tournament profit support these scholarships.)

Galena High School Athletic Programs
Program assistance for all athletic programs at Galena, including help with uniforms, games and tournament costs. Proceeds helped start the Galena Wall of Fame. (33% of tournament profit supports these programs.)

Galena High School Baseball Program
33% of tournament profit will be used toward regular expenses during the baseball season as well as fund necessary field renovations.
